As a first experience in an hostel, we had a wonderful time there. By doing the reception, making beds and taking care of the place, the rythm was easy. We could have learn a lot on an hostel gestion, so Thanks to the wonderful team of Angel, Manu and Angelina 😘

Recomiendo la experiencia totalmente. Ángel y Manu son excelentes anfitriones, muy amables y respetuosos. Los horarios se respetan siempre y las tareas son sencillas: atender la recepción, hacer las camas, lavandería y colaborar con los desayunos. El Hostel es cómodo, aunque un poco ruidoso por las noches, al estar en la calle principal. Karina y Angelina también forman parte del staff y son geniales. Abrazo para todo el equipo el hostel 🙌🏼

Maca ha sido una muy buena voluntaria, adaptamos los turnos para que pudiera continuar con su trabajo en línea y nos ayudó muchísimo con las tareas del voluntariado, sin duda la recomendamos para cualquier otro voluntariado donde ella pueda participar.

El hostel fue mi primer voluntariado, y desde el primer día Angel y Manu me hicieron sentir como en casa, en un ambiente muy cálido. Las tareas son sencillas: en el turno mañana ayudar con los desayunos, hacer las camas, el laundry y recepción. Por la tarde atender la recepción, y los pedidos de lavanderia. El lugar es ideal si es tu primera experiencia como voluntarix, ya que permite adaptarse rápido y disfrutar del intercambio sin estrés. El hostel es muy lindo, con buena energía y espacios agradables como la terraza, a la que le pusieron mucho amor y creo que es el corazón del hostel.

Para Flor este fue su primer voluntariado y se adaptó superrápido, siempre dispuesta a aprender y ayudar, el tiempo que estuvo por acá fue bastante agradable y sin duda la recomendaríamos para otros voluntariados donde pueda seguir aprendiendo y mejorando sus habilidades.

El hostel fue el mejor lugar que pudimos haber elegido para hacer un voluntariado y el lugar del que más nos dolió partir. Manu y Ángel son anfitriones excepcionales, siempre atentos, amables, increíbles personas para conectar, conocimos a más personas increíbles durante nuestra estadía. El lago es precioso y tenerlo cerca todos los días fue una experiencia realmente espiritual. Las instalaciones del hostel son cómodas y están limpias, los desayunos son ricos y la cocina está súper bien equipada, no podríamos recomendar más este voluntariado, nos sentimos muy agradecidos.

Montse y Dani, son unas almas hermosas, desde que llegaron pusieron su energía en este lugar y nos ayudaron muchísimo. Se nota el amor y la pasión que le ponen a la vida, sin lugar a dudas los recomendaría para cualquier proyecto con corazón, el tiempo del voluntariado paso superrápido y aún se les extraña.

I had such a good time there. Everybody is super nice and welcoming. The tasks were easy. I wasn't that busy when I was there because it was low season. Unfortunately, I had some family issues so I had to go back home much earlier than I thought. I would definitely recommend this position.

Giovana was here for a short time because she had a family issue, but the time she spent with us was very helpful. She was always willing to help, and with that experience, we could recommend her

I had a great first volunteering experience, the hostel is a cozy hostel with a homely environment. The hosts were welcoming and were always reachable, I felt comfortable here since day 1. The work was as described, however I volunteered in low season so there wasn't always a lot to do, however the hosts often encourage creativity. The beds are comfy and have curtains, the kitchen is well equipped and always accessible. The working hours and jobs were the same as advertised. Panajachel is a vibrant town with a great nearby market and lots to explore around the lake too!

I came during a busy week and was able to start helping right away. This is an amazing hostel with many weekly activities, and panajachel is a wonderful place to be able to explore in your time off. All the volunteers I met were so kind, we hung out on the roof many nights. It's very easy to create a community here, once my 3.5weeks were up I was not ready to leave! I keep saying i can't imagine not coming back to visit, they've created a welcoming space here even with all the faces coming and going. I can't imagine a better first volunteering experience!

I had a great time at the hostel. Most of my work was teaching yoga on the rooftop so I didn't do as much time in reception. I appreciated the laid back nature of the hostel, the kindness of the employees and the ability to offer my classes regularly. Lots of love for this crew! Thank you guys for everything!
