I had a really nice stay in the hostel and spent about a week here. The tasks were chill and enjoyable, like painting and helping around the yard, and afternoons were relaxed with time to enjoy the river and beach. This is more of a local immersion experience than a social volunteer environment, so you'll spend time with locals rather than other the hostel. The place is a bit outside central the hostel, but motor taxis are easy and Allan was kind enough to offer rides. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a quiet, low-key stay and a look at local life.
