To all the future Flamingos, I hope you enjoy your time at the hostel as much as I did. It's the perfect place to meet other travelers and build meaningful friendships. The work is just as expected, and you'll have plenty of free time to explore the town or go on different adventures. the hostel team is fantastic—everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to chat or offer help. If you're debating whether or not to apply, I strongly recommend that you do! Just remember, you'll be living with 11 other travelers, so it's important to be respectful and have fun!!!

I was at the hostel for 3 months and can certainly say it was my best volunteer experience. the only thing i didn't like was having to do nightshifts (i was one of the selected ones haha), but the staff cares and tries to make it the least hard possible. i had the opportunity of meeting many incredible people, and since my period there was a bit longer, i was also part of different groups, therefore different families. the type of connection you make there is no joke! i'm already planning to visit one of the good friends i made there - no joke at all, folks! ah, and the location is perfect!

The hostel is just amazing! The vibe here is super chill, and you meet the coolest people from all over. There's so much freedom, and it just makes everything more fun. The staff is awesome—so friendly and welcoming. Plus, the location is perfect, so it's easy to explore. And honestly, there's never a dull moment. Whether you're out discovering the city or just hanging out. Can't recommend it enough!

I really loved my time in the hostel. I met so many amazing people and the staff are the nicest people. They will always try to help you and make you feel comfortable. Bevor coming to this experience I lived alone so I was very nervous to share my space with so many people again. But time flies by so fast you don't even notice it or care about it. I would always recommend to come here and I wish everyone the best time.

Not having other experiences as a volunteer I cannot compare but I can say that it was the best choice I made in my life. I was Made comfortable since the day one by both managers and the others volunteers. I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world that begain friends for life and grow so much as a person. I always be garteful for the opportunity that Rafa e Benny gave to me and I highly reccomend the experience, the job wasn't to hard and the Hostel is in a perfect spot for visiting the city. I'm now a the hostel for life and I know that we'll met in the future. 🦩

I absolutely love become a the hostel! Since the first online contact with Sisi, I felt that definitely it would be my place! The hostel t and also the volunteers make me feel welcome in the team. The first day I could rest of a long flight, and I could do some personal things like go to the supermarket. The work it's fair, everything is explained and there is also have a training day. They respect the shift hours, the team is very helpful, there is a real team work, and as soon as we all finish the work, we're free to enjoy the day! They always say appreciate the job done! I recommend🦩

My experience had some very positive aspects and a few things that could be improved. The hostel is very well located, and the best part was definitely the people I met amazing volunteers and the vibe among us was great. The tasks are generally simple and easy to handle, though at times the level of detail required felt a bit meticulous. The shared room includes many volunteers, which is something to keep in mind depending on your preferences. Overall, the social experience was lovely, and I'm grateful for the memories and the people I met :)

I had an enjoyable experience overall! The staff were welcoming and often organised fun activities, which made it easy to feel at home. The kitchen area was a cosy spot where people naturally gathered, and The Hague itself is a beautiful city with a great beach and excellent transport links. Work hours were also respected and we often finished earlier than scheduled. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be adding more communal spaces as the kitchen/living room was the only real space to relax/socialise. That said, I'm grateful for the experience and had a good time here!

Conoces personas increíbles con las que puedes hacer buenas amistades y vivir buenas experiencias. Desafortunadamente yo viví una experiencia desagradable ya que un huésped dijo que le robe su chamarra, revisaron mi equipaje sin encontrar nada ya que no tenía nada. Pero decidí dejar el hostel ya que los miembros del staff no me quisieron mostrar ninguna prueba del porqué creían que yo la tenía. Solo dijeron que no tenían porque mostrar nada y que el huésped se los había dicho que no tenían nada que demostrarme a mí. Fuera de eso buena experiencia, recomiendo no saltársela.
