My experience as a social media content creator for the host was amazing! Fabiola was so sweet, she drove me whenever she had to work in Mexico City and let me explore more on my own. The work was fun, just a few hours of creating unique photos and videos to help promote their newly opened cafe. Fabiola and her brother Jorge will make you feel so at home, you get your own little spot in this apartment and they'll help with anything. I love the concept of the cafe as well, providing a safe and welcoming space to their community. It was also super great to practice my Spanish! I recommend!

Tiffany is absolutely fantastic. She spent a couple months with us and was solid and consistent thru the whole time. She's super easy to get along with and we would welcome her back with open arms!

Thanks Zain! When SF isn't on lockdown anymore I will def come and visit lol.
Zain and Duncan are the nicest people the hostel Bay Area! Super welcoming and very hospitable. It was truly my home away from home. They were so kind to open up their house to me and it felt like I was at home, especially cooking in their lovely kitchen! The volunteers had our own the hostel room and it was great considering we had some privacy throughout our stay. The tasks are very simple, getting the bed ready for guests, filling up the dishwasher, taking out the trash- basic household chores. If you're coming to San Francisco you HAVE to come to Treat Street!! (:

Hello beautiful people of the internet! My name is Tiffany and I've been traveling the world solo for the past 5 years (I'm currently 23) and been to 27 countries and territories. My first 2 experiences with worldpackers have been in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and San Francisco, California and I plan on continuing my travels with the company. Let's go explore the world together!
I graduated High School in 2019 and decided that I needed a break. Its time for me to slow down and figure out what I need to do in order to make myself happy and seeing the world brings me a lot of joy. I want the world to be my professor and locals of different cities to be my classmates. I knew for a while that school was not really for me and I wanted to explore the world and figure out who I truly am and what my purpose is on this Earth.
Work experience
My first job was at TJ Maxx as a sales associate when I was 16 and I maintained the dressing room, kept the floor up to date and helped customers improve their overall shopping experience. When I graduated I wanted to save up for my first solo trip and worked at a small, local Vegan Cafe where I made smoothies and juices, served food to customers and handled cash/POS system.
Travel experience
In September 2019 I went on my first solo trip to Los Angeles, California and the experience has changed the way I view things. I did not know what to expect when I got there and was nervous and doubted my capability of doing anything by myself. I quickly realized that I not only had nothing to worry about but I didn't have to have anything figured out. Everyone I met, like me, figured out what they did along the way. I planned nothing, I just woke up each day and let the day carry me and I ended up doing something different each day of the week I was there. I found a sense of peace and solidarity that I had never experienced before and realized that I love traveling to different places. I love to travel, and I want to do this for a long time. Working while traveling will give me an opportunity to save while I see the world and help out hostels at the same time. I want to continue to travel and build up the amount of countries I have visited. Since then, I have volunteered at a hostel in Ocho Rios, Jamaica as well as San Francisco, California.
