A experiência

Shelby Farms Stables is located within the beautiful Shelby Farms Park located in Memphis, Tennessee. The park consists of 4,500 acres and is one of the largest parks within a city limit in the United States. Our position involves assisting at the stables with grooming, cleaning and helping our guest that come to ride at the stables. We take out over 6,000 guests a year on trail rides.

Detalhes

We accept only people with a strong equestrian background. You will work at the stables 4 days a week and be off 3 days. We have a lot of volunteers at the stables so are looking for people who work good as a team. We like our volunteers to be friendly and outgoing.

Atividades & Turnos

Each month we have a schedule so you will know in advance your days off. You might want to travel on your days off to other cities like Nashville, New Orleans and Atlanta. We like to have fun at the stables as well as work. We play farm polo and other games on horseback.

Regras

There is no smoking inside the house. Everyone is expected to keep their living area clean. We supply food but the volunteers are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean.
