Teachers - we need you to organize cultural activities!

The Exchange

You'll be giving cultural and language classes to kids in the community. I'm gonna help you promote you're work here. you will be collaborating at an NGO called Missão Escola da Vida.


2 hours of help per day

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.

What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Fluent English or Intermediate Spanish

Program Details

You will be helping kids and teenagers in a poor neighborhood. Our job is to bring different activities to broaden their horizons. You're free to work with what you know best. You'll have freedom to do as you please in your class. you'll have translators so you don't have to worry about the language barrier.
First week is "planning week" we'll make you a schedule and talk about what you can do in your classes.


One of the highlights of the Worldpackers experience is the security. And we take that seriously. It is very important that all the conversations and confirmation steps are made through the Worldpackers' platform. By doing this, hosts and the travelers can review each other and get 24h support.
