echo beach is a MUST experience hostel! the connections I've made with not only the other volunteers but the guests as well. this hostel has a heavy flow of tourists from all over the world. I met some of my best friends during my stay here. I was originally only going to be here for 2 months and I am extending my stay for another two months! the hostel has a beachfront backyard with an open bar and restaurant. lots of parties in the evenings, a lot being on the beach or up in the jungle! work is super chill even when busy, the owners are really nice guys and working with them has been great!

I really enjoyed my time at Marks place! The team made me feel like a part of the family straight away. The tasks were a lot sometimes but I liked helping because the place started to feel like home to me.

They offered 3 meals and arriving there was only 1. They have staff dorm and left us in a dorm with 12 people who comes from party and I'm working at morning time. They got overbooking 4 nights and asked the other couple of volunteers to sleep together on a individual bed and for us to LEAVE the hostel for few days until arrange the situation. The host MARK is so respectful and kind but we didn't see him so much. I felt so disrespected about the staff responsible Marc and Joana. DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL. I have no cockroach blood to leave good review."
