What I've found with everyone I've met at the Dragonfly-- past and present interns-- is that only truly, genuinely good people come to the Dragonfly. The people at the ranch made it all worth while. That being said, it isn't for everyone. It's indoor-outdoor living- so expect no AC, outdoor showers and screened in walls! There are creepy crawlers everywhere, as it is in the middle of a "jungle" and it requires A LOT of hiking as it is a very steep, tough incline to the resident quarters. Organization and direction need a little help. But overall, I loved my time here and hope to keep in touch!

Dragonfly Ranch was a dream come true. Barbara and Anita treated me like I was one of their own. I’ve learned so much from both of them and felt supported and loved the day I got there. This holistic center is so special to me, it helped me get in tune with my spirituality immensely. I worked 4 days a week for 6 hrs and took the Sunday yoga class! I did housekeeping and laundry mostly because I worked there during the busiest season. But there are so many things to do here and such a beautiful place to be in. I will never forget this surreal experience and the people that made it <3

I really appreciated my time at the Dragonfly Ranch community thanks to Barbara, Anita, and the amazing team of work exchangers there. Everyday I woke up with breathtakingly beautiful sunrise before starting my breakfast shifts, shared meals with everyone, and went on memorable adventures with new found friends. The work schedule (3 days off) allows to you enough time to explore the island. The ranch itself is gorgeous but its location is also prime being close to ideal snorkeling places and beaches. Down side includes mosquitoes and the little hike up to the room but you'll get over it!

The Dragonfly Ranch is a magical place in the jungle on the Big Island. Barbara has created a creative oasis that gives guests and volunteers an opportunity to connect with the island. The manager Anita is working hard to create organizational systems, training, and has need working on expanding the Bed & Breakfast into an Educational Nonprofit. Come to the Ranch with good work ethic, communication skills, respect for the feminine, and a desire to make spiritual growth. The Big Island will help you manifest your hopes and dreams so be sure to spend time visualizing that which you seek.

I've no words to express my gratitude... This is literally the best experience of my life until now.
Nothing like dragonfly family, the essence of this place is pure love and there is so much abundance. Living with this community of beautiful and magical soulds is a blessing.
