This was my 2nd stay here and it was a lot more relaxing, since there weren't a lot of guests this time. That way I got to enjoy the benefits a bit more. Still, hanging out with João, Tass and the other volunteers was always a pleasure :D

It is a lot of cleaning when the place is packed and at other times the tasks feel redundant. Other than that you'll be welcomed and if you're up for it you can have a lot of fun with the other volunteers and João and Tassia who speak english, which I am grateful for :) Location is perfect and a lot of beautiful nature. I extended my stay :)

The hostelis a magical place and the hostelwas the main reason i had such a good time. I met incredible people and the volunteers are looked after well by Lucila, she deserves a lot of praise for her hard work and organisation! I made life long friends, in particular my new wonderful friend Tass, who is one of the kind and sweet people I have ever met who will help anyone if she can. I am so grateful to Tass and Joao for having me and my dog Riley, we will definitely try to return one day! 🫶🏻 my one main feedback is that sometimes there was communication issues but still loved it

It was my first volunteering experience. I volunteered as a content creator for Instagram, and there was freedom and flexibility to create the posts. Tass was very welcoming and did her best to ensure all the volunteers could get to know the island and have fun. She is a sweetie! João is very knowledgeable in marketing and is a great person to network with and exchange ideas. The plus is the dog Tapioca. Due to a job interview, I needed to return home a few days before the agreed date; they were understanding of the situation and were ok with me scheduling the content in advance. Tks!
