The Experience

We have 127 rescued dogs living at our big farm! We need to take them for walks, play with them and feed them. We are inviting volunteers to help us mostly developing our eco-tourism project on our site, creating permaculture areas, organic veggie patches, etc. Close by is the huge Cotopaxi volcano, many rose farms and pristine nature sites. This is a complete rural location, with good views and great hills for running, biking, horseriding, etc.

Well i had a great time. The family is extremely nice and vary welcoming ,the views are stunning mt Cotopaxi is out my back window . There are great walks to go on and every one makes you feel like a friend pretty much right away.,but bring GLOVES i was the only one who did and i felt bad for every one els. And be ready for hard work, also the closest store is a 30 min walk but they will take you in the truck pretty much when ever you ask in a tiny village and they don’t have much so just be prepared. Water proof boots are kinda a must. But its a great place a good time a vary relaxed.

My experience was wonderful: Victor, Mayra, Santiago and don Humberto are kind and generous people. The place is amazing, nice views and people in Sigchos. Besides, Fausto don Fausto in Sabia, are inspiring men, the dogs sanctuary is a deeply recommended place to stay, a little paradise on earth. Thanks to all these amazing people.

We were really lucky to have been able to host for Lenin. He is very nice and respectul and we learned a lot from him. Lenin was good at working with his hands and always willing to help with any task. Lenin showed also that he is a great teacher and I was very impressed by his respect and communicative skills at his classes. Thanks a lot Lenín. It was great to meet You! We hope that you come back soon with your amazing team.
