The Experience

We welcome world packers who will enjoy rural and authentic culture. Who will love the quiet Spanish way of life, the scenery. Flexible people who are animal lovers & outdoor types. You will need to speak good English and Spanish also. We would like help with a little decorating (we help so no need for experience) a little conversational Spanish, translation, some dog walking and some guest room prep. http://www.casadeloscuadros.com

We went for a week and end up staying for almost 20 days, and when we left we felt like it was too soon. Dawn and Steve really know how to make you feel at home, they are thoughtful and always have a funny anecdote to share.

The region is incredible, with wonderful landscapes. The house is stunning and has a beautiful garden. The tasks were simple, cleaning, painting, gardening and some translations. Not to forget walking the lovely dogs, Zorro and Badger.

Everything was delicious, the food, the wine, the ice cream.

Thank you so much for the amazing time!

I’ve learned a lot with Steve and Dawn, from marketing to cleaning walls. They’re very friendly and respectful. The village is super super quiet perfect to rest, get into the culture and connect with nature. They were very attentive and took me to meet some places around. Wonderful experience. I fall in love with the Village

Dawn and Steve are really nice people. Although we stayed a short time with them, we enjoyed a lot helping at the hotel project and knowing the area and surrundings. Very recommended experience!

Hello. We both know this was a terrible experience. The worldpackers here all loved their stay.

Unfortunately, you had no awareness of how to help and of the situation.

We had three rooms to change, not five. In the first two hours that I left you, hardly anything was done. I asked you if you wanted a break. Finally, we finished, with a lot of my help and me recleaning everything that you should have done. We finished at 2 pm and you started at 10.am. That is four hours.

In addition, you said that you could speak some English and could help us speak Spanish. Therefore, as we are English and do not speak very much Spanish, it would make sense that you could communicate just a little with me.

When you decided not to give it another day (because you said you were a writer and teacher and could not do it), you then proceeded to ignore me and then after eating left plates and pans for me to wash and clear away.

None of these things are how a worldpacker should be.
