My experience with Joe’s Nuts was something I will take with me for the rest of my life! I was lucky enough to be surrounded by an amazing team of volunteers who made the stay as positive as possible, I was able to explore Big Island inside and out and I was able to connect more with the nature and animals around me as I was fully immersed in off grid living. This farm and my time here will not be forgotten.

Working here was such a unique experience! The area is beautiful, and I loved all the animals on the farm. Whenever Diane was going out, she always offered to drop me somewhere so I could see and experience as much as possible during my month on the farm!

My experience in Captain Cook was amazing! Everyone was super welcoming. I really enjoyed learning all about sustainability and organic farming. Playing with all of the animals is something I am really going to miss! The farm is a two mile walk to one of the best snorkel beaches, so there is always something to do! Dee did an amazing job with immersing us into the culture and her life, she really wanted us to get a good feel of the island! Overall I would definitely recommend!
