The experience

We are the first English-speaking kindergarten dedicated to nurturing bilingual children from non-English speaking families, aiming to provide them with better opportunities for their future lives šŸš€šŸŒŸ.
We invite you to be a part of this ambitious project, working with the most delightful and precious age group of children from 2 years old. Our method is playful and interactive, so you'll be engaging with the kids in a fun and meaningful way šŸ¤—.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesnā€™t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Peru


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

You can support us in daily routines, assist teachers in classes, and help with activities and projects. We require volunteers to commit to at least 1 MONTHS or more to understand the work and adapt to the routine. In return, we offer accommodation and two meals per working day šŸ šŸ½ļø.

We have specific enrollment dates and offer four spots every two months. Recruitment takes place on the last and first days of each month šŸ“†šŸŒ»šŸŽ‰. However, please feel free to consult with us, as we often have spaces available throughout the year as well šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘.


Activities & Shift

Mornings 8:00 am to 13:00 pm


Rules

Please take care to exhibit appropriate behavior if interacting physically with children
Please ask for permission before putting photos of children on social media or the internet
Please donā€™t smoke, use drugs, or consume alcohol on the organizationā€™s grounds
Always have another adult present if you are in the childrenā€™s bedroomsor if you are bathing the children or in the childrenā€™s bathroom
Never have children in your bedroom
Please donā€™t take children outside the organization without permission
Please interact with children only in public spaces
Please donā€™t show favoritism to any individual child or give excessive gifts to the children
Always inform local staff if you witness or suspect inappropriate behavior by other staff or children
Please donā€™t use any physical force (such as slapping) with the children
