The experience at the hostel was a pleasure, I spent a total of 5 weeks there, and i can only say positive things about the staff, premises and work load. when i arrived there i had a mishap on the journey, where my backpack was robbed. so i arrived without phone passport or even a change of clothes, the staff were nothing but supportive and gave my the time and space i needed to rectify all that. I would highly recommend the experience to other Worldpackers, !! on a side note it was very hot when i was there probably to hot for an Irish man.....!

It was my first volunteering from Worldpackers and I must say I had a really great experience Capturing the beauty of this hotel. Aman Bhai, Fatan Bhai, Sumar Bhai, Subahan Bhai. They are all very friendly and helpful in nature. They are really working hard to start this new property by the end of June.. You must volunteer this place. It's more like a hotel than a hostel.. you'll get to learn management as well as customer handling experience. You'll get to know local culture as it is located close to Sonar Fort.

1.The power went out in the hotel several times a day. 2. There was no air conditioning and it was very hotel. 3. The meals were the same everyday and had no protein. I got very weak and was uncomfortable. 4. The location is very hard to get to because of the train, and it was no clear direction of the way it should be done. It was difficult to do my tasks with the power going out and the internet is not great. *Note: you must go to an international bank to withdraw money. No other back will allow you to do so. I didn't have a great experience although the host and team was nice.

This was my first volunteering experience in hotel. due to covid-19 as not much good as i thought. like i thought i can improve my english. but it's not happened as well because touriest can not travel especially international travellers. a talking about host side they were very welcoming. they respect my off and free time. my Schedule was very Flexible. unfortunately i didn't meet host PHOTE KHAN because he was out side of india. but a big shout out to sumar bhai, shorab bhai and abhan bhai. they treat like family member.in future maybe i would love to volunteering here.
