The Experience

Our farm is 81 hectares. In 2019 we planted 490 young olive trees and 200 walnuts, they need pruning, weeding, water in summer and hoeing. Fence maintenance against wild boars roaming is needed. We also have about 100 truffle trees that need some care, although they are older, 5 years. Our vegetable garden needs daily care, and someone with previous experience would be great!

Villa Fonteintanata is a magical place, but whats most special about it are the people!
Nico, Mia and Santi are just beautiful souls. My stay there felt really special and i'm very grateful for the time I could be there.

Amazing month in Villa Fonteintanata, we made a beautiful group with the hosts and volunteers. Highly recommended!

Fonteintanata Farm is an incredibly beautiful place! I really enjoyed working a half day or day, and then relaxing in the nature. I felt so peaceful and enjoyed the scenery so much. The hosts and all the volunteers except for one were super nice to me, and I really enjoyed our time together. And I love their incredibly sweet cats and dogs!! During the olive harvest, we picked by hand and with machines, and I had fun climbing many trees. My last day working, Guilia yelled out “bravo” as I worked, and that made me very happy. Thank you very much for the experience Nico and Giulia!

This place is magic! Nicolo and Giulia are super friendly, fun and there is a great energy in the house. We had to do the olive harvest, sometimes long and difficult but I learn a lot, and the team worked all together, so it was a really nice work atmosphere 😍
We spend a lot of time all together, sharing diners and really nice discussions.
I recommand this place for sure, you'll meet really nice and funny people in the middle of nowhere... And it's a real nice thing in those hard times...
So, don't hesite, if you love to work and share good wine with a beautiful team : go for it
Thanks guys

Place is picturesque but needs tlc.
Nico is good, smart, tho lacking tact which tarnished some my stay. Had to reschedule 1hr prior to arrival, after 3 wks notice -no food despite 2 meals inc - only discuss after excluded from dinner by guest-turned girlfriend 4 days in. Failing to offer constant assistance, cut leaves, take a nap resulted in audacious remarks, making me feel uncomfortable. The host's gains overshadowed the guest exp/ fun. At work women pick flowers, men lift trees. I was unable to relax & felt drained and cut my trip short. It was still good aside drama and petty behaviour.
