The Experience

Our beautiful garden always needs improvements so we always need help in different gardening tasks: cutting trees, mowing, taking care of the flowers. We also have 5 beautiful dogs that would occasionally need being dog sat.

No words could be enough to thank Catherine and her family for the month I spent with them. They’re kind, fun, honest and admirable people, that now I’m happy to call my friends. The world it’s not hard and you can see in Catherine’s face when you’ve done something she likes, which makes everything worth it. The house is gorgeous, full of history and the garden is beautiful. Even though the house is far from the city, you can always ask for a ride and since there’s always people around the house, you won’t feel bored. I’m so glad I got to meet, laugh, live and learn with them. See you soon ❤️

I spent a great time in Ville Maupetit. If you're looking for a french countryside experience this is your place! The house is a dream, living in a old maison with all that story behind felt amazing. Catherine is very kind, with loads of energy which she trasmits to everyone. I enjoyed helping her with all the activities we found to do (new ideas or suggestions are always welcomed). Her friends and family are lovely, was nice been able to share drinks and talks with them . Hope I can go back in the future as I felt like been at home the whole time <3

Catherine is an incredible person, it was a really great time and I felt like home. The place is a bit isolated from the city, but she usually borrow her car or give us a ride! She cooks very well, buys only organic food, and she took us twice for dinner in a restaurant in the beach to eat local food. She was very pacient and thought me a lot of French. Ah, and the work is not hard. I will definitely visit her again in the future.
