The Experience

We are a nonprofit horse rehabilitation center. Would love to have some energetic people that want to make a difference in horses lives. Need experienced horse people who can groom, lunge, teach ground manners, desensitize, exercise ride AFTER a riding evaluation. This prepares horses to be adopted into forever homes. If wanting to come then confirm dates and show up. Evaluation required.

Manuela, We miss you and wishing you all the best. You were so much help and brought so much joy here. Anyone would be fortunate to have you volunteer with them! Mama loves ya kiddo!

I had a very positive experience. The hosts were respectful and offered help whenever needed. The working time and tasks were flexible. This volunteering offers the chance to work and interact with the local community, which adds a lot to the whole experience, and I had the chance to meet new people and make connections. The accommodations and food were great. Plus, the hosts tried to add to the schedule some fun activities.
Although the place is a bit far from the city, the hosts were helpful when I needed to go to town.
If you want to get away from urban places, this is your volunteering.

my first experience at Worldpackers couldn't be better. Cheri the boss is a very special person just like her husband Viet. they both make sure the volunteers are okay. They have a big heart. It is a cozy, comfortable place and it feels like being at home. I carry them and all the cute little animals in the place in my heart. I recommend 100000% this place. thanks for everything Cheri and Viet. I will never forget this experience !!

Cheri and Viet are good hosts. It was worth the experience. However, I think there was a little more patience when explaining the tasks, as I was the only one who was not American and the only one who did not speak fluent English. But it was worth the learning, I was able to improve my English.
