I felt welcomed at Volcano Inn. This place is beautiful with lush rainforest. The people are very kind especially Ku’u. She’s such an amazing and friendly person. The inn has 24 hr hot tubs for you to use during your free time and the best thing is that it’s cleaned everyday. The Big Island is amazing as well. We rented a car for a few days and got to see sunset at Mauna Kea summit, black sand beach, green sand beach, lava tube, akaka falls, waipio valley and many attractions on the big island. You can take a bus to the Hilo town and go to the beaches as well. Overall, great experience!!

This was my first work exchange experience and everyone at Volcano Inn was so welcoming as soon as I stepped on to the island, I couldn't have asked for more. Volcano Inn is right in the middle of the Big Island (best island) and is a perfect base for exploring the area. If you know your hours ahead of time you have plenty of time for island adventures. Don't be afraid to ask for clarification on tasks, everyone is more than willing to explain and help out. This B&B is in a super relaxing rainforest so use the hot tub as often as possible and check this place out.

I was at the Vocano Inn for 6 weeks and it was a wonderful experience. The Hotel is super beautiful, comfortable and a safe place, surrounded by the wonderful rainforest. The staffs are super friends and have the patience to teach us English (especially Jeab, Kuú and Lyall - to you, our special thanks). We learned a lot about how to care for the rainforest and about the Hawaiian custumes. The Big Island is wonderful and offers: snorkeling, diving, hiking and delicious food. The island has much to offer: beaches, mountains, waterfalls and volcanic lava. It was an unbelievable experience, tks!

I travelled to Volcano Inn with my boyfriend and we are so grateful for this experience! The hostesses at the inn are full of joy and always have insider tips on exploring the island. Rich, the groundkeeper, taught me and my boyfriend names of Hawaiian plants, their legends, and how to care for them. I got to wake up and work in a lush and beautiful forest. The island offered so much beauty and wonders and I'll remember this experience forever. Lava, ocean, mountains and tropical plants and animals - if you love nature and active exploring, this will be the perfect place for your adventure!
