Unfortunately it wasn't a good experience and I left the second day. Since the beginning the host was asking me for money as donation, it wasn't written when i applied, but he insisted the whole first day, so I gave it. The first day in the orphanage with the kids was really good, but the second day, that I was supposed to teach english at the school, the host left and told me to negotiate with the principle to give some classes, but he didn't know I was coming to teach, so I waited at school for hours without having a class or explanation, and the host didnt help. It was so unorganized!

I strongly recommend! The hostel is incredible, clean, good beds, perfect common spaces to chill out with other guest, and the food was amazing!! I felt myself at home! The staff is helpful and professional, the manager Dulshan is very friendly, the owner Yakoob promotes dinner with all guests, recommends good things to do and also tells a lot about Sri Lankan culture. Mirissa is an amazing beach to surf, chill out and parties! I had the best time and made a lot of friends. I carried social media, and had also free time to do my things and the time was flexible, so I could work and enjoy

I've graduated in industrial engineer 10 years ago and I have a master in business marketing. Also I've learned spanish, english and german since I was a child, but portuguese is my language, I'm brazilian.
For the last 10 years I've been working as a marketing and sales manager in retail industry. Before that, during the university, I've worked for 4 years in social work at an NGO in Amazônia.
