We had a great time with Diego and Jelena! They are an excellent pair to have around. Diego helped us enormously in the kitchen of our restaurant. Jelena was excellent and attentive everywhere we asked her to work. They got along great with all of us as a host family, and they also seemed to gel and get along with our broader volunteer family. Cant fault them, couldnt ask for more!
Diego: It was a really nice experience. I stopped traveling because of Pandemia and it was nice to reconect again with volunteering in the camping of the camping. Alexi and his family are nice hosts. The crew was awesome and I made friends for life. I enjoyed my time cooking for the staff and I was really greatfull of this experience. Wish you the best! Jelena: This was my first volunteer and I had the most amazing experience! I learned many new skills (thank you Louisa💜) and had so much fun working along side other volunteers. I felt like being a part of the family and made friends for life!
Thank you to you both for being here with us, Thank you Diego for the exotic meals you provided for all as well as helping in the kitchen with the main menu. Jelena, bless you for your balanced and comitted presence at work. It was great to have an adult couple as part of our team instead of the typical gap year students. Soy un actor y escritor peruano. En el 2015 gané el premio nacional de mi país en dramaturgia y después de eso decidí hacer un cambio radical en mi estilo de vida y me convertí en un nómada digital. Viajo por distintos países desde el 2016, trabajo como escritor de blogs, webs y escritor fantasma para distintos clientes. Sigo relacionado con la industria cinematográfica peruana escribiendo proyectos de cine para mi país. Actualmente me encuentro en Europa viajando por distintos países y viviendo nuevas experiencias. Tengo un podcast de películas (Cinema Nomade) y estoy escribiendo en mi tercera película y segunda novela mientras recolecto experiencias de vida por todo el mundo.

Back in my country I wored in all theatres of Lima, in tv and movies. I won the national price of Dramatury in Peru the year 2015. Right now I am traveling South America and I have worked in hostels of Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Brasil and Uruguay. My specialty is working as a chef, in charge of the kitchen, but I have also worked as recepcionist, housekeeping and all kind of different tasks.
En Perú he trabajado en todos los teatros de Lima, el tv y en cine. El 2015 gané el premio nacional de Dramaturgia con una obra de mi autoría. Actualmente viajo por todo Sudamérica y he hecho voluntariado en hostels de Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Brasil y Uruguay. Mi especialidad es la cocina, me he encargado de la cocina de varios hostels ya que también se cocinar, y me he desempeñado en otros cargos, como recepcionista, limpieza y todo tipo de tareas de hostel.
Viajo desde hace mucho tiempo. Conozco varios países de Sudamérica, con la excepción de Colombia, Venezuela, Paraguay, Las Guyanas y Suriname. Me gustaría seguir viajando hacia Centro América y Asia.
Mi mayor logro en cuanto a viajes es haber viajado enteramente a pie por toda la costa del Perú desde Lima hasta Trujillo (800 kilometros).Gran experiencia!
