La experiencia

We are looking for volunteers motivated in learning Permaculture and Green Building. Projects are diversified and applied with the idea of an optimized integration and a thoughtful sustainability. Every activity is explained and supported in the field by a professor of Permaculture . Cessions of theory on Permaculture are provided weekly.
Volunteers may use the camping. The volunteer needs to bring his/her own tent.

Construcción y Reparación: Ayuda con varias tareas de reparación o construcción.

Ayuda en Granjas Eco: Siembra, cosecha y ayuda con tareas del campo.

Jardinería: Ayuda a plantar y cultivar jardines.

Programa detallado

After a first phase of reforestation we are now working on bringing biodiversity, improving fertility and optimizing the processes and the integration of the different elements of the farm for a better harmony.

Volunteers participate in morning activities including meals. The afternoon is free to go to the beach or visit Trancoso.

The Permaculture certificate is not official. I take the PDC course but it is a very specific and different formula for an official permaculture diploma. I can issue a letter of recommendation that can be used by the volunteer to facilitate other stays in other hosts that do the same tasks.

We have a minimum of 4 hours of theory per week on Permaculture and Bioconstruction.

Reglas

Respect of the environment, recycling, respect of the community.

Sustainability and land regeneration are obtained by using perennials, biodiversity and recycling . With regards to the day to day life we care about the ecosystem including the people. Rules are derived from this objective.
